Dutch Mountain by Denieuwegeneratie
Amsterdam design studio Denieuwegeneratie have buried a woodland villa beneath a mound of earth at a Dutch nature reserve.

The manmade hill disguises the building on its northern facade and creates a blanket of insulation around the walls during colder months.

{WOW. A car cabinet. That’s awesome!}

{Snowboard stairs. How resourceful!}

Manifest Destiny! by Mark Reigelman

Brooklyn artist Mark Reigelman has installed a wooden hut in an unusual city location – suspended on the side of a San Francisco hotel like a bird box.
Reigelman claims that the Manifest Destiny! project demonstrates the rights of the urban explorer to find an unoccupied parcel of space in which to make a city home.

About:

I'm a Toronto-based interior designer, that's really more than just that. I think it's interesting to see how personalities show through what you post.

Throughout the weekdays, between 9am to 5pm, I sometimes post things I find online that are usually related to design in some way or the other. But after that, I have the 'randoms' queued up! You see my interest in design, art, illustration, architecture, photography, travel, & fashion, the things that make me laugh, that make me think, the things that excite me, and the things that I love. Soon, it won't be so random after all.
