interior decorating 101. if you’ve stayed at the four seasons in toronto or palm beach, you’ve seen brian gluckstein’s (ceo of gluckstein design planning & gluckstein home) award-winning interiors. mixing timeless treasures w/contemporary design is a constant in his projects, as well as w/in his home.
featured in this post are pictures taken inside gluckstein’s immaculately organized closet; from his colour-coordinated cucinelli cashmere sweaters to his camel-coloured shoes (tidbit! gluckstein’s three important rules for shoes: “never wear the same pair two days in a row; polish them after every wear; & always use a shoe tree to re-block the shoe”). this post also guides us into his most sacred place: his bathroom; “it’s the first room you go into & the last one before bed.” gluckstein’s bathroom focuses on comfort & tranquility. he’s even got a chair made of terrycloth for post-bath time lounging.
(another tidbit!) five things gluckstein can’t live without:
1. great shoes & a great watch
2. a big comfy down-filled sofa
3. his 1969 mercedes convertible in palm beach
4. his 18th century antique desk from his parents
5. his iphone because he records everything that doesn’t movetake a further peek inside brian gluckstein’s home here.
